Paper Aircraft Competition
10 March 2010
Description
Club supplies 1 sheet of A4 paper.
The task is to build a glider to fly for the longest glide in the time allowed, normally half an hour is enough to build and trim the model. The builder may use glue, sellotape or weights if required, which will not be supplied.
Flights are then timed, time is taken from throw till plane hits another object, be it wall or floor etc. Bouncing off the ceiling is allowed and not penalized. Three timed flights will be performed.
The builder with the longest single flight is declared the winner.
