Fast/Slow Competition

Description
Any fixed wing aeroplane may enter. The aircraft flies in a straight line along a fixed distance. One pass is made in each direction as slowly as possible, then another pass in each direction as quickly as possible. A marker and a flag man are required to indicate start and finish to the timer. The aircraft must fly forward all the time and must follow a horizontal flight path when between the markers. Hovering is not allowed. The pilot with the greatest ratio between slow and fast time is the winner. Each round is one set of times.
