Just a note of congratulations to Steve Hartley (Secretary) and Mark Baker (New member this year) who both sucessfully took their Helicopter A test this afternoon.
Hopefully this will set the trend for a few more people taking their A test in Fixed wing and / or Helicopter flying.
Please remember it is a club rule that you cannot fly unsupervised unless you are the holder of an A test in the decipline you wish to fly in.
(Exclusions apply for menbers who joined prior to a certain date)

I remember people flying without silencers at the old EP site before it became Sainsburies.

Just to let you know that we are waiting for the second batch of BMFA returns. This will affect exisitng members who rejoined in December, and new members who joined in January. As soon as I receive the returns they will be posted out to the relevant members.
Thanks for your patience.

We have just completed our membership subscription for 2009, and consequently the waiting list is now closed. Flyers wishing to join in 2010 should apply to the waiting list which opens again in November.
Thanks for all the interest in joining.

I'd like to create a history page on the new website. Does anyone have any information about the club and how it was founded? Where did we fly originally? What year? Any details welcome, thanks.

Hi,
If anyone has carried out aerial photography using RC aircraft, please can you give me a call if you can offer any helpful tips on the subject.

It has come to notice that we are not taking notice of Kens request and our instruction not to fuel models anywhere but close to the ditch.
Someone has burnt another hole in the grass.
If we cannot heed these simple rules we stand a chance of losing the field altogether.
Please have a little respect for our landlords request and use the trays provided and the club handbook which shows the correct pit usage and layout.
