The first batch of BMFA returns was sent out to members yesterday to hopefully arrive by the New Year.

This is just to let you know that I haven't yet received the BMFA returns from the first batch of renewals. I assume the delay is due to the bad weather somewhere down the line. As soon as I receive them they will be posted out to members within a couple of days.
In the meantime I wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

I have now put a bucket of sand next to the water trough at the field. Please empty the drip trays into it after flying.
Also I have put the notice boards up in the shed. I will put copies of the club handbook pages on one of them when I have finished the revisions.
The other can be used for members messages for example for sale or wanted notices or flyers for events. But please only flying related stuff.
Happy Christmas to you all.

Hi Tony, any time at the weekend is good. If you need some initial assistance to get you back into the swing of things just let me know and we'll arrange something.

Hi Steve,
I am a member and wish to continue my membership, but work commitments have meant I have had little opportunity to fly in the last 12 months.
Is the best way to come up on a Sat or Sunday to get back into it...not such a busy time would be better until confidence returns!! I have my "A".
Thanks,
Tony

Hi Graham,
The club is very keen to get members up to BMFA 'A' certificate standard on grounds of safety and personal achievement for the member. In fact all members must hold an A certificate before they are allowed to fly unsupervised at the flying site. There are many experienced flyers in the club so providing you are flexible with regard to flying times there should be no problem in getting some good one to one coaching.

Hi,
I am very interested in joining your club and would love to come down and visit one weekend. I have flown before, but didn't quite manage my A Cert before work commitments took over. I wonder if you have available instructors and would it be possible for me to borrow some of their valuable time should membership be granted?
Kind Regards
Graham
